X4 Technology is offering the opportunity for Java Software Engineer to come in and work with a Payments Solution company who offer next-gen payments technology and insights for customers and partners to succeed locally and globally. This role involves developing and implementing complex solutions using advanced Java EE/Spring technologies in an environment that values innovation and collaboration. Key Responsibilities of the Java Software Engineer Design and implement solution components following industry best practices. Collaborate with clients on specifications, propose and discuss design options, and deliver projects. Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews. Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues to enhance performance and availability. Identify potential improvements proactively and lead their implementation. Requirements of the Java Software Engineer Proficient in Java and Java EE/Spring frameworks. A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing commercial software with previous experience in the Payments space. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Database design and SQL experience are a plus. Passionate about building high-quality systems and contributing to a positive team environment. This is a hybrid opportunity based near Covent Garden and requires someone to be in office 2x per week. Alongside a competitive wider benefit package the salary is coming in-between £75,000 - £110,000 depending on experience.
