Job description Our client is a pan European private equity real estate fund. As part of the group’s growth plan, they are looking to hire Associate in their Real Estate Investment team based in London. The Investment Associate will play a critical role in sourcing, underwriting, and managing real estate investment opportunities. The role involves working closely with senior team members to evaluate potential acquisitions, develop financial models, conduct market research, and execute asset management strategies to maximize portfolio performance. Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable including German, Swedish or Danish. Main Responsibilities Responsible for supporting deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily focused on the UK, Nordics and Germany Responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in different geographies and asset classes. Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European Real Estate markets. Support deal activity in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models Assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating, and recommending new deals. Responsible for preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee. Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation. Support asset management activities relating to existing investments Background and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field Ideally 3-6 years’ experience (ideally with 1years proven experience as an Associate) Proven experience working in a real estate team Deal experience ideally in value-add and opportunistic strategies Broad real estate sector experience Strong financial modelling skills Passion for real estate and private equity investing. Opportunity to build network so can source/originate as well as execute. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong judgement and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel Native level written and spoken English Fluency in a second European language is desirable including German, Swedish or Danish Competitive base salary and annual performance bonus.
