Taylor Root is working with a terrific, private equity backed business. They are looking to hire a Legal Counsel with a Corporate Finance or Banking skillset. Reporting into the Head of Corporate and Commercial, this is a role working closely with Group Treasury, Group Tax, and Corporate Finance. You will be sitting in a legal team of c. 4 people in London, who are very much integrated with the commercial teams. This would suit someone coming straight from private practice or moving from an in-house position but there needs to be a strong corporate finance/banking foundation. It would suit people who are proactive, energetic, and articulate. It’s a fast-paced business that requires commerciality of thought, and pace. Experience required: UK or common-law qualified solicitor with c. 3-6 years’ experience. Experience working with senior management teams. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate with senior stakeholders. Someone who has an eye for details, strong issue-spotting and prioritisation skills.
