Day to day, you’ll deliver recognised Functional Skills courses in English and Maths which forms a key component of an Apprenticeship Standard. Tutors are expected to be able to deliver Maths and English to mixed groups. (max class size x16) some of whom may have Learning Difficulties. Conduct assessment, invigilation and marking of assignments. Provide fair and constructive feedback in written and verbal form. Deliver remedial training and revision (during working hours) as required. Prepare lesson plans, learning resources and trainee supporting materials. To review teaching inputs regularly in the context of changing needs of students and programmes. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. Essential experience Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proven record in delivering training. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications Good understanding of work-based learning programmes. Qualifications Functional Skills Level 2 English Functional Skills Level 2 Maths
