Inside Sales Manager – Cybersecurity MSP - Manchester - £80,000 Overview We are working with a dynamic and fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in cybersecurity solutions, including penetration testing and Cyber Essentials certifications. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Manager to lead and inspire their inside sales team of four professionals. This role will focus on driving sales performance, fostering a high-performing team culture, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development Manage and mentor a team of 4 inside sales representatives specialising in penetration testing and Cyber Essentials services. Set clear individual and team performance goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge of cybersecurity solutions. Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and recognising achievements. Sales Strategy and Execution Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed team targets. Monitor and analyse sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and generate quality leads. Ensure team members are effectively qualifying leads, presenting solutions, and closing deals. Customer Focus Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, challenges, and industry trends in cybersecurity. Oversee the sales process to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to service delivery. Address escalations, resolve customer concerns, and build long-term client relationships. Collaboration and Reporting Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between sales promises and service delivery. Report on sales performance, forecasts, and key insights to senior management. Contribute to pricing strategies, service offerings, and competitive positioning. Qualifications and Skills Required: Proven experience as an Inside Sales Manager or similar role, ideally in a cybersecurity or technology-related industry. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing sales teams. Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, including penetration testing and Cyber Essentials certifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive sales results and optimize processes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales performance tools. Preferred: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST. Experience working in an MSP or similar fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as Cyber Essentials Assessor or CISSP (desirable but not mandatory).
