Initiative / Project Manager - Large Scale Migration Projects Until End June 2025 Hybrid working Inside IR35 Your role Are you an experienced initiative manager with a track record of driving the success of large scale, complex initiatives? We’re looking for an experienced hands-on Initiative / Project Manager to Work with the crew lead, aligned initiative manager, and technology and business stakeholder to lead the co-ordination of all aspects of for the CIG or Commodities crew migration, which includes the planning, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential issues. Maintain a clear plan and run-book of migration tasks, status, risk, and issues. Deliver clear communications and status update. Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement. Coordinate the tasks of the migration initiative. Help resolve cross-stream conflicts and dependencies, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts. Perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan. Your team You’ll be working in Asset Management’s Managing Investments Stream focusing on driving the success of a large scale, complex Front Office technology transformation, including managing the day-to-day progress of multiple inter-linked dependencies and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. Your expertise Ideally at least 10 years Initiative/Project Management experience. Experience of leading and co-ordinating migration projects. Experience of applications, infrastructure and end-user migrations. Good understanding of operational processes, preferably within the financial services industry. Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels. Well structured, reliable and dedicated; high attention to detail; ability to handle a significant number of dependencies and issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different audiences and working styles / backgrounds and effective at influencing change in a global and diverse team.
