Role: PMO Analyst with Strong IT Infrastructure Experience (Banking) Location: London/Sheffield, UK, 3days/week onsite Duration: 6 months Note: Recent Banking Client experience is mandatory Job Description: We are seeking a PMO Analyst with a strong background in IT Infrastructure and experience working with banking clients to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for supporting the execution, tracking, and reporting of IT infrastructure projects within the banking sector. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT infrastructure projects for banking clients. Assist in the preparation of project charters, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, including senior management. Collect, analyze, and report on project performance data. Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, risk logs, and issue trackers. Facilitate communication between project teams, technical experts, and business units to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Provide administrative support to ensure seamless collaboration. Ensure that all IT infrastructure projects comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Assist in the identification and assessment of risks across IT infrastructure projects, and work with the project managers to define mitigation strategies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools, helping to streamline project management workflows and increase overall efficiency. Key Skills&Qualifications: Experience as a PMO Analyst, with a focus on IT infrastructure in a banking or financial services environment. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (networking, servers, storage, cloud technologies, data centers) and how they apply to banking operations. Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar. Familiarity with project tracking systems for reporting and documentation purposes. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior leadership. Additional Skills: Experience with agile project management methodologies is an advantage. A proactive approach, detail-oriented mindset, and strong organizational skills are essential.
