Job Title: HR Business Unit Director Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £ competitive basic salary bonus car excellent benefits This role will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership team. The HR Business Unit Director is accountable for ensuring the business unit People Strategy aligns with both the Group People Strategy and overall business unit objectives to drive cultural and operational excellence. In this role you will lead the HR team to provide business partner support and challenge across all areas of the business unit to agitate positive change at all levels. This role also plays a critical role in leading the People Agenda for the group and business unit and through the Health&Safety team ensures a safe, compliant and risk-free workplace for our Colleagues and the business. Some elements to the role: People Strategy Shares a clear vision for cultural change that aligns with our strategic goals and objectives. Contributes views and opinions to shape the direction&strategy of the business unit. Has collective ownership for the delivery of business unit strategic objectives Supports Business unit change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to Colleagues. Uses insight from across the Business unit gained from various sources and build appropriate actions to improve Colleague engagement. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, creating a culture where all employees feel respected and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. A coach for the senior leadership team and fosters a coaching leadership style across the business unit. Operational HR Human Rights Due Diligence Health&Safety Social and Environmental You: Educated to Degree level or equivalent - CIPD Level 5 or above Comprehensive years of progressive HR experience, in FMCG or retail Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence and challenge others at all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience of leading change initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives. Resilience: Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
