We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate Housing Officer to join our busy and friendly team based in Rochester, Kent. The role is full time, permanent, working 40 hours per week with the requirement to take part in the on call rota. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the management of the referral process to achieve agreed occupancy/target levels. Providing information to clients and advise on welfare benefits including housing benefits. Assist in the assessment of needs and the provision of equipment/facilities as required where tenants have a physical disability. Provide information about tenants' rights and responsibilities Address incidents of rent arrears Develop and maintain accurate records including correspondence, housing management plans and health and safety records Support statutory agencies in the monitoring of risk and other support/care or training factors Ensure that the team is fully briefed on the tenants and referrals A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required for this position. About Kadesh Kadesh is a 48-bed service within the Medway Towns in Kent offering homes and support for people with convictions.
