We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in Warwickshire , who are recruiting for a Housing Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis for an initial 3-months . The role offers hybrid working, with weekly office attendance required , and the rate is up to £55 p/hour subject to experience. The role will require a full driving license and access to a vehicle. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Providing dedicated legal support on housing, civil litigation and employment matters Contributing to the provision of an efficient and effective legal service to councillors and officers with a commitment to continual improvement and performance management Working alongside other members of the Legal Services Team in supporting the Council’s transformation programme, including advocacy, drafting and/or negotiating for cases within the areas of responsibility of the role with limited supervision Experience required: Background in Housing Law essential Knowledge of governance, planning, property, contracts, licensing, and criminal litigation is desirable Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
