Job Description
If you are a Procurement Category Manager, or more senior, with experience importing food into the UK, this could be the step up you need to become Head of Procurement. You would need to use your current customs clearance knowledge on occasion to make swift decisions, as well as your food raw materials/finished product buying experience to manage an eight-figure spend. Although the parent group has acquired them, this role is primarily about ensuring the profitability of the UK business. It's hybrid, with two or three days in the office per week. You will be on the senior management team and will get to shape the future of the company by sourcing new product lines, as well as the "day job" of managing a small team and doing most of the procurement. Circa £85K basic 2/3 days in London, the rest from home. Management bonus scheme If you have import and food buying experience from a UK company, and this might interest you, then just click the "apply" button and I will call you with more information.
