Head of Finance - Insurance | 1 year FTC Hybrid: 2 days a week in Office I am currently working with life insurance company on the hunt for a Head of Finance. If so, I want to hear from you About the Role In this exciting leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Production of monthly finance management reports Production of year-end financial statements Compliance with accounting policy Ensuring efficient finance processes and controls Management of key stakeholders Ensure completion of corporation tax and VAT returns Preparation of the quarterly finance reports for the Company Board Monitoring of KPI’s and reporting/explaining the variances Managing and supporting the finance team What you will need: Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE Prior work within the life insurance industry and technical accounting policy Strong leadership skills – to support and develop team members Advanced user of Microsoft Office
