Intervl are supporting a leading EV charging company with their search for a Head of Business Development to lead the sales function. In this role you will lead from the front, drive sales growth and build a high-performing sales team in the rapidly expanding EV sector. The Role: As the Head of Business Development, you will: Lead and inspire the business development team to achieve ambitious growth targets. Roll up your sleeves and actively engage in high-value client acquisition and partnership-building. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across key sectors, including facility management, workplace parking, car park operators and commercial real estate. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to position the company as the partner of choice in the EV charging market. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty. Manage and mentor a team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture. About You: We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive sales leader who can: Showcase exceptional people management and leadership skills to build and motivate a high-performing sales team. Demonstrate a proven track record of success in business development, ideally within the EV or energy sector, however other suitable sectors are facilities management or construction. Exhibit a hunter mentality with the drive to close deals and achieve results. Balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, leading by example in securing partnerships and new business.
