Head Chef for beautiful new French opening in Marylebone - London £60,000 - £65,000 per annum Role: Head Chef Location: Marylebone, London Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum Start Date: January 2025 About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an intimate new opening French restaurant in the heart of Marylebone. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in every dish. Develop a dynamic and innovative menu rooted in French cuisine with modern twists. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Train, mentor, and lead a small but passionate kitchen team. Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and cost controls to achieve financial targets. Uphold stringent health, safety, and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the restaurant’s management to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or bistronomy-style setting. Extensive expertise in classical French cooking techniques with a creative flair for innovation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. A deep understanding of seasonal and high-quality ingredients. Knowledge of kitchen cost controls, including food cost and labor management.
