Job Description
Our client an accountancy practice is seeking a Group Compliance Manager to join their team in Oxford. This role would suit a candidate who is already working in Accountancy practice and who has post qualified UK experience in a practice team or regulatory body such as ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW. Ideally you will have an ACCA or ICAEW qualification and you will have a firm understanding of risk and compliance in the accounting industry and able to manage the company's operational and regulatory risks. Some of your responsibilities will include: • Rolling out a company-wide Compliance and Risk strategy • Ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within the organisation, including facilitating and organising training and communication on compliance matters. • Preparation of regulatory applications to ACCA/ICAEW or other regulatory bodies for all new acquisitions e.g. Audit, AML, DBP • Providing clear and accurate reporting with regards to compliance findings and breaches • Providing advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees on compliance related queries • Responsible for updating all regulatory policies • Updating firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures • Co-ordinating any assessments. A UK driving licence to meet the need to be able to travel to all their offices
