Role Overview As a Funds Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s legal and regulatory framework. Your responsibilities will include advising on fund launches, restructurings, and the ongoing management of UCITS, AIFs, and other investment vehicles. This role will also involve providing strategic legal guidance on intermediary relationships and fund distribution across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with complex regulatory frameworks. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external third-party managers to support the development of innovative investment strategies. Candidate Requirements Experience : Qualified lawyer with 4 years PQE, gained in private practice or in-house with an equivalent level of quality. Sector Knowledge : Strong understanding of the investment management sector, including FCA regulations and associated compliance risks. In-House Exposure : Experience within an asset manager is highly desirable. Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, including with senior management and board members. Mindset : A proactive approach and a willingness to broaden your legal expertise across diverse areas.
