Job Description: Founder’s Associate Overview of RenKap At RenKap, we’re transforming how construction risks are managed. Every construction project comes with its own set of challenges—ecological concerns, contamination risks, ground stability issues, and more. Mitigating these risks requires a range of technical surveys, yet the process of sourcing quotes, instructing surveyors, and managing multiple surveys across projects is often fragmented and inefficient. That’s where RenKap steps in. We’ve created the first-of-its-kind Site Survey Marketplace, allowing property professionals to upload their projects, receive multiple quotes from our network of vetted surveyors instantly, and manage the entire process through our innovative software. This ensures risks are identified and mitigated efficiently. With a growing customer base including major consultants, local authorities, the GLA, and even central government, we are scaling rapidly. Last year, we achieved 300% revenue growth, and now we’re looking for a Founder’s Associate to support our Founder and CEO as we continue to scale the business. The Role: Founder’s Associate As a Founder’s Associate, you’ll work directly with the Founder and CEO, acting as their right-hand partner across a wide range of business areas. This mission-critical role offers unparalleled exposure to the inner workings of a fast-paced startup and the chance to shape its future trajectory. Your work will span strategic planning, operations, marketing, and more, giving you the opportunity to tackle high-impact projects and gain hands-on experience in building a business from the ground up. Your goal is to take on essential aspects of the CEO’s role, allowing them to concentrate on continuing to scale the business. Responsibilities Strategic Projects: Work with the founder to identify, plan, and execute key growth initiatives. Market Research: Conduct in-depth analyses to support decision-making and strategy development. Operations Management: Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day operations, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions. Marketing and Sales Support: Collaborate on campaigns, pitch preparation, and outreach to drive business development. Support marketing initiatives where required: SEO / Video creation / LinkedIn Posts Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, surveyors, investors, and partners. Problem-Solving: Step in to solve critical challenges and identify areas for improvement. Ad hoc Projects: Support the Founder with both high level strategic and the mundane operational tasks—no job should be too big or small. Desired Experience 2–4 years of experience in startups, fast-growing small businesses, or other dynamic environments where you’ve been actively involved across multiple areas of the organisation Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, property or a related field.
