Parkside Recruitment are currently looking for a Financial Controller to support our client. About Us Our client is a trusted standards body in global trading. The Role As Financial Controller, you’ll work closely with our clients outsourced accounting team and board. Key responsibilities include: Attending 4 to 6 board meetings annually (some may be outside normal hours due to global time zones). Preparing accurate financial reports. Providing independent oversight of accounting activities. Identifying and escalating financial issues. Recommending improvements to financial practices. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone with: Essential Skills: Strong accounting experience. Excellent communication skills, especially with senior leaders. Desired Skills: Understanding of non-profit or membership organisation finances. Familiarity with financial regulations and governance. Key Skills Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP. Strong IT skills (Excel, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.). Stakeholder communication and team leadership experience. Analytical and problem-solving skills. What We Offer A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000.
