BioTalent have teamed up with a global pharmaceutical leader based in Kent , who focus on developing innovative treatments for serious and life-threatening conditions, on their search for a Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Manager. In this position you'll be accountable for maintaining and enhancing the EHSS systems in line with corporate objectives, while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and best practices at the Pharmaceutical manufacturing site. You will be responsible for: Lead and maintain the EHS management system, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements Identify EHS risks Act as the Health&Safety Person for the site Promote sustainability initiatives, working cross-functionally to reduce energy, waste, and water footprints Manage risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations Oversee EHS training programs Collaborate with HR on Occupational Health and manage emergency response plans Ensure compliance with security standards, interfacing with internal departments and regulatory bodies You will bring the following: A plethora of experience in EHSS roles, in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry Strong knowledge of UK Health&Safety legislation and ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001). NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Occupational Health&Safety
