Your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing the engineering function to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget. Establishing and implementing effective engineering policies, procedures, and tools to support company objectives. Ensuring engineering processes are efficient and proportionate to the company’s needs. Overseeing workforce planning and resource allocation, ensuring the right skills and capabilities are in place. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive business success. Supporting professional development within the engineering teams and identifying training needs as the business evolves. You’ll have extensive experience managing large, multidisciplinary engineering teams and a passion for driving people, processes, and culture. Key requirements: Proven leadership experience in engineering, preferably within the defence, security, or a highly regulated industry. Expertise in managing engineering functions comprising 250 professionals. In-depth knowledge of contemporary engineering practices, processes, and quality assurance techniques. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills. A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership when needed.
