Job Title: Electrical Project Manager – EV Infrastructure Location: Durham HQ (Hybrid, with travel to sites as required) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per year, plus car allowance and bonus About the Role My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Project Manager to join their team and lead the installation and management of AC/DC EV infrastructure projects. This role will involve overseeing a diverse range of ICP schemes, from 11kV to 132kV, across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, and residential. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee multiple projects involving the installation of AC/DC EV infrastructure, including ICP schemes ranging from 11kV to 132kV. Sector Diversity: Manage projects across various sectors such as commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. Site Visits&Client Meetings: Conduct regular site visits and attend client meetings to ensure project progress, quality, and stakeholder engagement. Project Coordination: Manage all project-related correspondence, schedules, plans, deliverables, and documentation to ensure effective project execution. Material Planning&Purchasing: Organise the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and availability for projects. Labour&Sub-contractor Management: Organise and coordinate the workforce, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient project delivery. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deadlines and quality standards are consistently met, maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. Skills&Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience within the electrical sector, with a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Team Management: Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, including contractor partners, to achieve project objectives. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage and engage with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring clear communication and project success. Commercial Acumen: Good understanding of commercial considerations and the ability to manage costs, budgets, and contracts effectively. KPI Management: Ability to understand, manage, and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the project lifecycle. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage field teams, ensuring high performance and a focus on safety and quality. Technical Knowledge: Ability to contribute technical expertise to proposals, reports, and project delivery. CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential. Contract Knowledge: A working knowledge of construction and engineering contracts is essential.
