They are currently looking for a Multi Utility Designer to join their well-established and fast-growing design team working on a range of projects. If you have a strong background in utility design, specifically in gas, and are looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you As the Multi Utility Designer, you will be responsible for producing utility designs that comply with relevant IGT/GT specifications and meet technical and regulatory requirements. You’ll work on multi-utility infrastructure projects, with a focus on gas design, ensuring that each design is approved for construction in a timely manner. Your key responsibilities will include: Produce detailed utility designs and schematic drawings, particularly for the gas aspects of multi-utility projects Interpret and apply technical specifications to ensure all designs are fully compliant with IGT/GT regulations Ensure that designs are submitted for timely technical approval and are approved for construction without delay Work closely with project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure designs align with project objectives and are delivered efficiently Maintain high standards of design quality, ensuring that all work complies with industry regulations and client requirements What you will need to be successful in the role: GIRS qualification or at least 5 years’ experience in utility design, specifically working within the GIRS framework or similar industry standards Strong experience designing multi-utility networks with a focus on gas, and a thorough understanding of the associated technical and regulatory requirements Interested to find out more?
