A global financial services group is looking for an Equity Derivatives Lawyer for their in-house legal team. Although this role requires equities experience, this is not a equities role day-in-day-out. You will get broad exposure to worth within the group, which sets this opportunity aside from other equity derivatives focused roles. This is a position within a well-established team of dynamic lawyers, supporting various Global Markets businesses. The Role: Collaborate with the Equities team on structuring, negotiating, documenting, and executing equity products, including derivatives, margin loans, fund finance, and prime brokerage. Provide guidance on the creation and launch of new products, including regulatory analysis and structuring. Interpret and implement regulatory changes impacting equities. Offer legal and regulatory advice to internal teams such as Risk, Compliance, and the Business. Skills&Experience: Strong expertise in equity products, particularly equity derivatives. Familiarity with ISDA (including Equity Definitions), LMA, GMSLA, and prime brokerage documentation. Knowledge of corporate, security, finance, and insolvency laws. Exceptional organisational, analytical, and time management skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively across all levels. A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. English-qualified with 5 years PQE.
