You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring forward-thinking designs to our brand and ensure each piece speaks to our unique style and our trend-conscious audience. What You’ll Be Doing: Design Innovation: Research, develop, and design the denim range for each season, ensuring the collection is fashion-forward and aligned with the Urban Revivo aesthetic. Trend Analysis: Regularly research global trends across various sources, from street style to art and culture, to keep designs fresh and relevant. Market Insight: Use insights from global market trends to identify key denim shapes, washes, and fabrics that resonate with our brand’s target customer. Product Development: Partner with the technical team on fit and construction, ensuring that design concepts translate flawlessly into finished garments. Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, guiding them on direction, construction, details, materials, and trims to achieve optimal design execution. Time Management: Adhere to critical deadlines, ensuring designs are ready for each season's optimal selling period. Adaptability: Be agile, balancing long-lead and quick-response projects to deliver innovative designs that meet market demand. Qualifications: Who We’re Looking For: Proven Experience: 2-3 years in denim design for a high-street or aspirational brand, with a strong understanding of denim construction, washes, and techniques. Trend-Driven Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret trends and translate them into unique, first-to-market designs. Commercial Awareness: Knowledgeable in developing a balanced product range that aligns with the brand’s commercial and creative direction. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, and Photoshop. Familiarity with UK and international suppliers is a plus. Communication&Collaboration: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Problem Solving: Confidence in identifying challenges and finding practical solutions under tight deadlines.
