Our client is a North Sea operator business with several staff requirements for Senior Decommissioning Project Engineers. Aberdeen based and full rights to work in the UK only . Specific Requirements Technical/Engineering degree or a number of years of experience in a technical field. Commitment to continuous professional development Experience of managing budgets, teams and working collaboratively with external parties. Knowledge of the offshore working environment and/or site based working. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement. Ability to drive innovation in technical solutions. Competency in contract management. Competency in risk assessment and mitigation at project level. Ability to keep the larger project picture in mind, including recognising where interfaces may be needed. Be able to prioritise multiple work fronts, both for themselves but also provide guidance to less experienced team members. Ability to enquire and challenge the relevance of accepted operational standards for the Decommissioning phase. Ability to create an empowered project team, setting clear expectations and ensuring the team take accountability for delivery. Project Management qualification or working towards accreditation with a recognised body i.e. APM or PMI.
