Job Description

Insight Global are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a leading education consultancy based in Soho, London. This hybrid role requires three days per week in-office and is a full-time, permanent position. This is a newly created position, designed to strategically enhance the firm’s data analytics capabilities, building on the success of ongoing projects. In this role, you will support key initiatives such as supplier analysis, client evaluations, M&A activities, and operational reviews. You will also recommend and implement new processes and methodologies to streamline both the data management and analysis. Working closely with consultants, you will analyse data, derive insights, and present findings to clients. Additionally, you will evaluate current workflows, recommend tools or techniques to enhance efficiency, and guide the firm in adopting innovative data strategies to help optimise and enhance their client offerings. Key Responsibilities: • Support consultancy projects by providing data-driven insights and recommendations. • Develop and implement methodologies to streamline data manipulation and analysis beyond Excel. • Analyse and interpret data to deliver actionable insights that align with project goals. • Present tailored methodologies and findings to partners and external clients with confidence. • Recommend tools, processes, and techniques to improve operational efficiency and data management. • Leverage data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create impactful dashboards and reports. Must-Have Skills: • Proven experience supporting consultancy projects from a data analytics perspective. • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative methodologies. • Expertise in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software. • Excellent analytical thinking, with the ability to extract meaningful insights and present data-driven narratives. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • A proactive mindset, capable of taking initiative and delivering tailored recommendations. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Previous experience working in consultancy roles focused on the education sector.
