Customer Success Manager | Team Leadership | SaaS A specialist construction cost engineering practice with expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure is looking to hire a Project Manager to join the company in Manchester. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Success Manager to lead our team of 4. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You'll be responsible for overseeing both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximizing the value of our solutions. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that prioritizes effective communication, knowledge sharing, and individual development. Oversee team performance, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Implement robust people management processes and procedures, including leave management, attendance tracking, and regular team communication. Pre-Sales: Partner closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop tailored solution proposals, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process. Lead pre-sales activities, including data setup, demonstration delivery, and technical advisory services. Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to stay updated on product developments, customer feedback, and competitive insights. Continuously evaluate and optimize pre-sales processes, tools, and resources to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Implementation: Develop comprehensive implementation plans, covering discovery, development, testing, and training phases. Own the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-adherent execution. Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including design documents, test plans, and training strategies. Lead customer escalations to swift and effective resolution. Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, including contributing to account management activities. Mentor and develop team members to achieve high performance and career growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and sales, to drive business outcomes. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in customer success management, ideally with team leadership responsibilities. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members, but also resolve conflicts and negotiate with stakeholders.
