Credit Controller (6 month contract) Head Office - Snowfox Group Contract: Full Time Salary: 35000 Contracted Hours: 40 The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the worlds largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team for a 6 month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining healthy financial relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will have: • Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices. • Experience in financial accounting and reconciliation. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities include: • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors. • Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with banks. • Ensuring timely payment of debts. • Following up payments as needed. • Negotiating re-payment plans. • Responding to relevant queries. • Processing and reconciliation of invoices. • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems. • Maintaining accurate records. • Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. • Minimizing bad debt risks, and conducting regular credit reviews. • Attend regular meetings with senior management to provide updates and insights.
