Based in London, they have a national reputation and are a leading Legal 200 firm who pride themselves on providing a high level of client care. The role: As a paralegal, you will collaborate with a group of partners, solicitors, and paralegals in the Court of Protection department on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The following will be part of your role, however other duties might be added as needed: -To support the delivery of legal and administrative services to customers. -To provide clients with legal advice when asked, while being closely supervised. -During client meetings, take notes. -Visit patients in their homes, at assisted living facilities, and in hospitals. -Pay clients on a regular basis and maintain precise payment schedules. -Additionally, anticipate future expenditures and create budgets. -Daily interactions with customers and their unique lifestyle needs. -Handle customer communications both in writing and over the phone in a professional and private manner, additional solicitors and outside parties. -When appropriate, assign and oversee tasks. -Under the direction of a business partner, collaborate as a team. -May also get cases from a number of the team's partners and solicitors. -Offer our customers a prompt, amiable service. -Create witness statements, court applications, plain English letters, and other documents as needed. -Uphold the standards for client care outlined in the office manual and terms of business for the firm. -Keep improving your legal skills. Personal Specification: Capable of meeting deadlines strong proficiency with Microsoft, especially Word and Excel. Excellent client service A proactive, adaptable, and "can do" mentality Performs effectively under duress Organising and capable of setting priorities Outstanding communication skills both in writing and speaking Outstanding interpersonal abilities Capacity to manipulate figures Qualifications: Degree in Law and previous experience of working in a Court of Protection role.
