Pure Search are instructed by a leading US law firm who are looking to grow their Corporate M&A team at 3-4PQE in London. The Firm: Our client is an international law firm headquartered in the US with multiple offices across the US, Europe and Asia. They are best known as one of the leading firms in the Tech and Innovation sector, advising a range of disruptive tech clients in the life sciences and high-growth industries. The firm's client base is incredibly broad, from multinational household name tech giants through to start-ups and their investors in growth mode. This is an opportunity to take your role as an M&A lawyer a step further and become a genuine advisor to some of the most enterprising tech clients globally, where in some cases you will be assisting with a ground-breaking product in the life sciences or media space. The Role: This is a pure M&A role across a mix of public and private transactions. You will find yourself often working across the full life cycle of companies, typically advising VC-backed companies, as well as private equity backed deals. The role will have a particular focus on deals in the life sciences, media, AI and technology sectors and the team have been involved in over $750bn aggregate M&A deals since 2019. This has included advising major streaming platforms, investment banks, transportation companies and US-based tech and AI clients. About You: You will be an England&Wales qualified Solicitor with 3-4 years post-qualified experience at a Silver/Magic Circle, US or leading international law firm, looking to make a clear step up and career move towards a focus on tech, media and life sciences work at a leading US practice.
