We have an exciting opportunity for an CI Improvement Lead to spearhead initiatives that make a tangible impact on manufacturing performance. What You’ll Do: As an Opex Improvement Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing operational performance, optimising costs, and fostering best practices. Your responsibilities will include: Driving Performance: Establishing and maintaining performance control systems, including short interval control (SIC). Delivering Improvements: Leading diagnostic and ideation processes to identify improvement opportunities and executing these initiatives to meet Return on Investment (ROI) targets. Building Capability: Coaching and mentoring site teams to instill a culture of continuous improvement. Best Practice Advocacy: Sharing successful strategies and enabling their replication across multiple sites. Transformational Leadership: Setting and promoting behavioral standards that align with operational excellence goals. Your Impact: This role is instrumental in delivering: Improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Reduced labor and material costs. Enhanced site maturity and performance outcomes. Consistent and measurable business-wide improvements. About You: We’re looking for someone with operational&CI experience from the world of manufacturing. This offers a unique opportunity to pursue or continue a CI career. Perhaps you are working in a leadership function, Shift Management for example at present. You understand how to lead, coach, influence&of course core manufacturing processes. No formal CI qualifications are required by the way, there will be opportunities to work through Six-Sigma belts with the position. Project Management Expertise: Adept at using root cause analysis to identify and implement permanent solutions. Change Leadership: Proven ability to guide teams through change, fostering engagement and alignment with objectives. Lean Improvement Skills: Experienced in lean methodologies and tools to drive efficiency. Manufacturing experience – understands operational factors Analytical Acumen: Able to interpret financial metrics and pinpoint improvement opportunities. Whether you’re skilled in all areas or looking to develop further, this role offers an excellent platform for growth. Key Details: Scope: Overseeing one site or a cluster of sites, delivering targeted annual savings. Collaboration: Working closely with leaders and operational teams to implement improvement plans.
