CAD Engineer-Birmingham Deliver high-quality designs and wiring diagrams for the company’s product range, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review specifications and ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with clients and teams to agree on design routes. Produce accurate drawings and develop system software elements. Manage major projects independently and attend site visits confidently. Handle contractual matters and negotiate price variations. Train new staff and support team improvement initiatives. Prioritise workload effectively under pressure. Provide excellent customer service and flexibility for out-of-hours work. Qualifications • English GCSE (or Equiv) • Maths GCSE (or Equiv) • CAD Experience or Quals Experience • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other trades. • Completing tasks unaided. • Ability to manage and organise own work. Desirable • Previous CAD experience Skills and Knowledge • Utilise AUTOCAD. • Assimilate the company’s products and IT management system. • Understanding project delivery requirements. Desirable • Understand basic design skills. • Understand system capabilities.
