The business has a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction which makes it a leader in its market, and we’re now looking for an exceptional Commercial Manager to join its team. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for growing and nurturing relationships while driving the performance of our customer base. You will have a direct impact on their experience, working to develop growth opportunities, influence the category agenda, and deliver exceptional results. Key responsibilities: Customer Champion: Be the go-to person for customers, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is excellent. Account Management: Lead customer communications proactively and efficiently, coordinating internally and externally to exceed expectations. Sales Growth: Work with the category team to identify and develop sales opportunities, driving growth across key accounts. Cross-departmental Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as Innovation, Category Development, and Supply Chain to ensure delivery on customer objectives. Performance Tracking: Regularly report on progress and identify areas for improvement to stay on track with targets and KPIs. Customer Strategy Development: Build and execute annual customer strategies that align with business goals and ensure profitable results. You will demonstrate: Previous commercial customer-facing experience, ideally within UK retail. A strong understanding of financial and business metrics, with the ability to influence results. A proactive attitude and the ability to work across departments to ensure alignment and success. Proven experience in managing relationships, driving growth, and delivering on targets. This is a hybrid office-based role , with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, plus regular travel to customer sites. Some weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
