Client Summary: Our exclusive client who specialise in the design, build and commissioning of HV substations up to 400kV are looking for a Commercial Manager. This is an opportunity to work on flagship HV and renewables projects with DNOs, iDNOs, power generators and other renewable energy providers. Package: Up to 70k vehicle/car allowance and package (25 days bank holidays, pension, private healthcare) Location: Office in the Hertfordshire area. Hybrid split (home and office) with some travel expectation to site when needed Role Summary/Knowledge and Experience We are looking for a permanent Commercial Manager who is experienced in managing contracts in the high voltage power (renewables, power transmission and power distribution) industry. Experience of dealing in EPC contracts in UK and/or Europe Experience of independently managing FIDIC, NEC, bespoke contracts to a value of £40-50million annually Tendering Contract negotiation Contract and sub-contract management Procurement Claims and time extensions Payment and reconciliations Experience dealing with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, internal and cross-functional teams 10 years experience in the above
