TARCG is working with a leading UK-based MRO provider who a seeking a dedicated Check Manager Support Engineer to join their expanding team in Birmingham. This role is central to ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of aircraft maintenance services, working closely with cross-functional teams. As Check Manager Support Engineer (CMSE), you will: Collaborate with Check Managers, Commercial, and Materials Coordinators to ensure seamless aircraft delivery within established timelines. Help maintain project timelines and high-quality standards by managing task cards, budgets, and clear customer communication. Support Shift Two operations working Monday to Friday Key Duties&Responsibilities Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to define and sign off on over-and-above (O&A) tasks prior to work initiation. O&A Coordination: Resolve any O&A issues in conjunction with the Commercial team. Task Monitoring: Review booking reports to identify potential overruns or errors that could impact O&A tasks. Documentation&Reporting: Prepare and share Task Card overrun and O&A sheets; provide daily reports to customers detailing open and closed tasks. Budget Management: Track check budgets at the task level, alerting managers of potential overruns. Check Support: Assist the Check Manager in delivering maintenance services per the agreed schedule. Contractor Coordination: Oversee contracted and sub-contracted activities to meet project timelines and ensure purchase order fulfillment. Work Pack Management: Raise additional cards to incorporate new tasks into the work pack as needed. Skills&Abilities Required Qualifications: apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in aviation or mechanical engineering. Adaptability: Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills for handling multiple tasks. Communication&Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities for cross-team and customer interactions. Commercial Awareness: Awareness of commercial considerations impacting O&A management. Technical Proficiency: Competency with MS Office, particularly Excel.
