The role: You will be expected to undertake all core Building Surveying service lines, although, the team is big enough to enable you to specialise/ have a leaning towards a specific offering should you so fancy it Typical duties include: Survey and Inspection: Conduct detailed building surveys, dilapidations inspections, and assessments of commercial and properties. Identify and evaluate defects, structural issues, and potential risks. Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations. Project Management: Manage building projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to coordinate project activities. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software for accurate data collection and analysis. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in building surveying. Report Writing: Prepare detailed and well-organized reports with clear recommendations for clients. About you: Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying (2.1 minimum grade). Professional accreditation or membership with relevant industry bodies (RICS). Proven experience in client engagement. Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and industry standards.
