Category Manager London, South West - 3 days per week in the office Our client, a B-Corp food brand who are in c30% growth YOY are hiring for a superstar Category Manager to lead the category function and foster collaborative category development relationships with external retail partners and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Transforming data into killer and actionable insights for UK teams, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on market performance. Identifying distribution gaps and competitive advantages through data analysis. Providing regular updates and recommendations to drive growth in the UK by spotting trends early. Presenting strong arguments and insights to senior stakeholders, both in person and in writing. Monitoring business performance to identify opportunities and risks, contributing to strategic planning. Collaborating on new product development (NPD), pricing, and promotional strategies while aligning with business goals. Sharing insights across global teams to adapt strategies towards a unified category vision. Experience / Candidate required: 3-4 years experience in category management within the FMCG industry, particularly with major grocery customers; familiarity with data agencies like Nielsen or Kantar is a plus. Proven track record of delivering results through insight-led projects that add value. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of presenting data effectively and making insightful recommendations. Ability to make impactful recommendations. Commercial decision-making based on solid data analysis. Experience or eagerness to mentor and manage a line report. A commitment to social responsibility and ethical practices.
