Responsibilities: Responsible for building partnerships with key suppliers and expanding our sourcing network for designated categories. Negotiating to secure the best deals for our customers. Handle supplier contract negotiations and assist the Category Associate for operational procurement. Develop and maintain a robust sourcing strategy, identifying new suppliers and negotiating favorable terms to ensure competitive pricing and product availability. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to increase supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives to enhance service levels. Manage sourcing processes and purchase order management to maintain sufficient stock levels and optimize inventory turnover. Monitor and optimize category-specific metrics, including conversion rates, margin, leveraging data-driven insights to foster ongoing improvement efforts. Collaborate with the Category Manager and the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, maximizing their impact on sales and customer engagement. Implement procurement best practices to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency within the category. Qualifications: Bachelor-level education or equivalent intellectual capacity. 5 years of experience in retail merchandising as a category buyer or trader, with preferred experience in the e-commerce industry. Experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and driving category growth. Experience using Excel and Business Intelligence. Proficient in English.
