If you\\\'re ready to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you Our team supports recruitment for services across the whole council, and we have a new vacancy for a Business Officer to provide administrative support to our four busy Recruitment Advisors, who each look after different services. This role will be varied and support all four portfolios, with a greater emphasis on Children’s services. We work on a hybrid basis, from home or at our purpose-built, state of the art offices in Alconbury Weald. We get together once a month for collaborative working and when required (if you’d prefer to work in the office more regularly, you’re able to do so). Additional face-to-face time in the office will be provided to support with your induction, training and development. Although mainly working remotely, we are in frequent contact with each other and always available to talk to; we have a friendly, supportive working environment and encourage questions to learn and promote discussion. The structure of the team offers opportunities for progression, and this role gives you an insight into teams across the organisation. Interviews will be held at New Shire Hall, Alconbury Weald, during the week commencing 9 th June. About you You should have experience in a business support environment, with an understanding of GDPR and Data Protection. You need to have some customer care experience and a desire to provide a high-quality service to our stakeholders. You must be proficient with IT, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and understand social media channels and their impact. We provide training and support for our team system and the council provides excellent IT training to support and develop your skills. We often need to update our processes in response to new government guidelines, regulations or policy changes, so you must have a positive approach to change. Driving the recruitment process forward is a key part of our role, so you need excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a busy role, so you’ll need strong organisational and administrative skills, an eye for accuracy, and a resilient attitude to handle multiple tasks, people and deadlines.
