Legal Business Development Manager – Financial SaaS Solutions Location: Manchester Salary: £50,000 plus commission Are you a driven, strategic thinker with a passion for sales and expertise in the legal or financial sector? We’re seeking a dynamic Legal Business Development Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in expanding our Financial SaaS solutions within the legal industry. About the Role As the Legal Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on driving growth by identifying and engaging with law firms and legal departments that can benefit from our cutting-edge financial software solutions. You’ll take ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring that clients receive the right solutions to optimize their financial processes and compliance. Key Responsibilities Identify and target key decision-makers in law firms, legal departments, and other relevant sectors to generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and how our SaaS solutions can address their financial and regulatory challenges. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive offerings, and potential growth areas within the legal industry. Develop tailored sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to demonstrate the value of our financial solutions. Manage the sales pipeline efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing deals to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development and customer success, to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction. Stay updated on legal and financial industry trends, regulations, and the evolving needs of clients to maintain a competitive edge. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a business development, sales, or account management role, ideally within the legal, financial, or SaaS sectors. Strong understanding of legal and financial processes, with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business benefits for clients. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders. Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Familiarity with SaaS platforms and financial software solutions is highly desirable.
