We have two incredible opportunities for two Business Development Manager based in South West and in and around Hampshire, England for Majestic Commercial, the on-trade arm of Majestic Wine Do you have proven experience generating new business in the on-trade within the Wine and Spirits Industry? Job Specifics Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Location: South West, England and Hampshire The Role As a Majestic Wine Business Development Manager, you will be the key driver in generating new Regional on-trade business. You will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver against budgets set by the business as part of the overall on trade budget in conjunction with the Sales Team Build account plans with new customers to deliver your business objectives and ensure strong business relationships, improve rate of sale and profitability Deliver excellent levels of customer service across your account portfolio Work closely with the wider sales team to ensure plans are delivered at Commercial level Identify, develop and deliver insight driven innovation opportunities across all parts of the marketing mix, in order to drive portfolio and brand growth. Create alignment and integration by working with others, involving them at the right level throughout the process, to achieve clear decisions that can be executed quickly Clearly articulate brand vision, positioning, renovation and equity development to profitably grow the brand. Drive Business development for “Region X”– meeting new clients / negotiating better terms / increasing sales / implementing new ideas from creation to excitation Analysis performance of accounts leading internal and external weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with focus on new customer growth Knowledge&Skills Required: Proven track record in sales and Business Development, with the ability to hit targets both personally and through a team. Extensive experience for winning new business within the drinks industry WSET Qualified preferred but not essential An understanding of on-trade, both national and regional trends and the ability interpret category sales data. A passion for the food and drink industry Self-motivated, confident and outgoing with the ability to build relationships at various levels. Creative with a can do attitude able to overcome challenges and find solutions in order to succeed Energetic and ambitious with the drive and determination to win Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels What’s in it for you?
