The Role: We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Point of Sale (POS) team. You'll play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing payment solutions that enhance our customer experience Key responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for payment-related initiatives. Process Analysis: Model and optimize current payment processes to identify areas for improvement and automation. Solution Design: Design and document functional and non-functional requirements for payment solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Testing and Validation: Participate in test planning, execution, and defect resolution to ensure the quality of payment systems. Instore card products and its bin ranges - [Payments Knowledge] Online and offline processing of instore card payments - [Payments Domain expertise/experience]Pinpad capabilities - [Payments Knowledge] Pinpad integration with selling units (POS/SCO) and troubleshooting - [Domain experience Card payment configurations at Retail end that controls the End point, PED applications, Timeout etc - [Domain experience]Card payment limitations (contactless, offline limits etc) - [Payments Domain expertise/experience Card payment error code analysis- [Payments Domain expertise/experience] Awareness of Tokenisation and PCI compliance - [Payments Knowledge]Settlement processing - [Payments Knowledge] Finance Reconciliation with Acquirers - [Payments Knowledge]Awareness of Chain of custody of Pinpad devices - [Payments Domain expertise/experience] Your Profile Key skills: Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and vendors, to ensure project success. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry, particularly in POS environments. Strong understanding of payment processing, authorization, and settlement processes. Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process modelling, and use case development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Knowledge of payment systems and technologies, including EMV, PCI DSS, and tokenization. Experience with Agile methodologies. Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools. Understanding of payment gateways and integration with POS systems.
