Job Description
Insight Global are looking for a Business Analyst to join one of their premium retail clients. This Business Analyst will sit within Global Support Operations, and will be responsible for gathering business requirements and creating user stories for the technical implementation teams for delivery. As such, they will be heavily using Jira and Confluence to help manage and track the various requirements throughout the business change process. Additionally, they will also be involved in data visualisation to make educated recommendations to the business to help facilitate change for the organisation. The chosen candidate needs to have great communication skills for interacting with various cross-functional stakeholders, including understanding updates from technical teams and change management, and assisting in triage. Must haves: Experience working as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst Strong hands on experience creating and writing user stories and business process mapping Previous experience using Jira and Confluence as Business Analysis tool Experience with data visualisation and analysis to provide recommendations to business stakeholders experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Basic understanding of software and hardware in retail and technology Experience working in an Agile environment, although candidates may also come from a Waterfall or hybrid background Strong written and verbal communication skills Background and/or previous experience in retail industry Plusses: Experience with ServiceNow Experience using PowerBI for data visualisation Knowledge and experience of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
