A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager / Branch Manager to join a leading construction product distributor located in Manchester. The company supply a wide range of façade related products to the construction industry and due to continuous growth, require an experienced Sales Manager / Branch Manager to join their team. Branch Manager Position Remuneration Starting salary £35,000 - £50,000 (Flexible DOE) Car Allowance; £550 a month as well as business mileage covered Discretionary bonus 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays, and additional days for long service) A contributory pension schemes Life assurance Health cash plan Retail discounts Employee Assistance Programmes Cycle to work Electric car leasing discount scheme Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:30pm (1-hour lunch) Branch Manager Position Overview Oversee the general management duties across the branch/site; Build branch sales and profits whilst developing new channels and routes to market; Working with the Production supervisor, organise and manage production; Maintain excellent relationships with customers to include face to face meetings, with a view to increasing opportunities and enhancing existing margins; Ensure our customers receive an excellent service; Train, develop, support and motivate the team; Run an efficient and effective operation by managing the stock and properly utilising vehicles; Support and demonstrate company values; Attend Management meetings as directed; Ensure that all legal, regulatory and statutory obligations are met within own area of responsibility including Health and Safety; Keep up to date with any industry wide developments; Participate in training as required and build on own professional development and expertise; Branch Manager Position Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Façade related product knowledge (such as; cladding, glazing, facades, windows, doors, curtain walling etc.) Proven experience in buying and selling products High quality communication skills, verbal and written Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers Proven experience in project management
