This Bid Manager role is a newly created position offering a rare opportunity to define and implement best practices from the ground up. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll lead and manage bids that reflect the practice’s excellence in design and innovation. Your proactive, hands-on approach will be essential as you create streamlined systems and elevate their bid processes. Key responsibilities include: - Take ownership of the bid management process, from identifying opportunities to submission Collaborate with their talented teams to craft compelling, standout proposals Develop and refine internal processes to ensure efficiency and quality Bring fresh ideas and strategic thinking to every stage of the bid lifecycle Monitor bid performance, analyse win/loss trends and report successes to drive continuous improvement Maintain the bid library Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and best practices in bid management Key skills required: - Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the built environment sector (essential) Good working knowledge of InDesign with the ability to produce visually engaging submissions A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, autonomous role Experience managing complex bids involving multiple stakeholders Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information well A passion for creating impactful bids and winning projects.
