Role: Banking&Finance Paralegal Location: London (Farringdon) Salary: up to £35k About Us: Our Client is a leading law firm specializing in providing tailored legal solutions to a diverse range of clients. Our Banking&Finance team is at the forefront of complex transactions, offering unparalleled expertise to financial institutions, corporations, and private clients. We are seeking an experienced Banking&Finance Paralegal to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. Key Responsibilities: Assist solicitors in the management of complex banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, security documentation, and refinancing matters. Conduct due diligence, including title reviews and company searches, and prepare comprehensive reports. Draft and review financial documentation, such as facility agreements, guarantees, and ancillary documents. Manage and track transaction progress, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are updated. Liaise with clients, lenders, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transaction completion. Support post-completion processes, including registration of charges and filing at Companies House. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal in banking and finance. Strong knowledge of banking and finance law, including security and lending transactions. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach. A law degree or equivalent qualification; LPC desirable but not essential.
