Back-End Developer – Defence Sector Location: London or Bristol or Manchester Work Pattern: Hybrid Salary Range: £50,000 - £90,000 (Depending on experience and interview performance) Are you a talented Back-End Developer looking to contribute to cutting-edge defence projects? Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust, scalable back-end solutions for complex systems. Develop, test, and maintain high-performance APIs and data structures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration with front-end components. Conduct code reviews and maintain industry best practices in coding and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a time-sensitive environment. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Back-End Developer in high-security or defence environments. Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C# , or Node.js . Solid understanding of databases , including SQL and NoSQL. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar). Knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker or orchestration tools like Kubernetes . Familiarity with secure coding principles and standards. Active UKIC DV Security Clearance (essential).
