The Role: As AVP, Compliance Assurance you be part of a new team playing a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Compliance in implementing a robust and comprehensive compliance programme across the Group. Leveraging audit and programme management experience, you’ll enhance compliance processes and drive innovative solutions that strengthen the organisation’s assurance capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance change control processes to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Lead transformative updates to the Group’s Risk Rating Tool (RRT) methodology. Manage and deliver strategic projects focused on upgrading and optimising monitoring and surveillance systems. Strengthen the Group’s Compliance Validation Testing (CVT) programme through effective oversight and innovation. Continuously assess and refine risk data management to enhance compliance oversight. Drive advancements in Management Information (MI) reporting, focusing on automation and efficiency. Provide audit and programme management expertise for ad hoc compliance projects, including M&A due diligence. Collaborate with Group and jurisdictional stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of compliance initiatives. Qualifications and Skills: Proven ability to manage large datasets, with proficiency in SQL being highly desirable. Deep understanding of financial crime, regulatory compliance, and sanctions, particularly in the UK and CDOT jurisdictions. Strong project and programme management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives. Exceptional communication and report-writing abilities. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
