Job Title : Assistant Construction Manager (Electrical Bias) Location : Scotland (On-site, 5 days per week) Contract Start Date : Early 2025 Duration : 12 months Industry : Renewable Energy Overview : Coalesce Management Consultancy is looking for an Assistant Construction Manager with an electrical bias to support the delivery of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Scotland. The role involves overseeing electrical works during the Construction phase. Key Responsibilities : Support daily construction activities with the Senior Construction Manager. Ensure electrical works meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct inspections on AC/DC installations, terminations, and high-voltage equipment. Manage contractors and ensure timely, within-budget completion. Oversee logistics, plant operations, and earthworks installations. Enforce health and safety policies on-site. Essential Skills&Experience : Proven experience in electrical installations in a construction environment. Strong knowledge of AC/DC and LV/HV systems. Familiarity with high-voltage equipment and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). Desirable : Experience with BESS or renewable energy projects. Background in civil works related to energy projects.
