Job Description
The Role: To develop the regional and local business in a set geographic area (Scotland) predominantly through the careful ongoing management, retention and growth of the existing customer base and through proactive new business acquisition. This is a hybrid account management/new business role and requires skill sets and disciplines to serve both. Candidates should ideally live within the central belt of Scotland. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets within your assigned region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing existing accounts. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company goals. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies. Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline activity to senior management. Requirements: Proven experience in sales management, with a focus on business development. Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to travel within your assigned region. Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
